There may be two elements causing the issue:
- The urine sample amount is not enough. If you dip your test strip in the urine, make sure that at least 2/3 of the absorbent tip is dipped in the urine. If you pee on the test, make sure to pee on the absorbent tip for 5-10 seconds.
- The given reaction time wasn't long enough. For some tests, it may take more than 5 minutes to react (but no more than 10 minutes).
The Eveline Ovulation Test works by detecting the surge in luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine, which triggers ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovary) in approximately 24-36 hours. The fertility status shown by the Eveline Fertility App is defined as below:
Low Fertility: Displayed at times during the cycle when your fertility hormones are low.
High Fertility: Displayed at times during the cycle when your LH level surges. Ovulation may happen in approximately 24-36 hours.
Peak Fertility: Displayed at times during the cycle when your LH level reaches a peak. (That is, the LH level is about to go down). Ovulation may happen in approximately 12-24 hours.
